Subject: Port of Tecate remains closed for cargo traffic

Stakeholders:

Please be advised that the Port of Tecate remains closed for commercial traffic and a re-opening date has not yet been determined. The port may be opened on Monday, Oct. 29, for pedestrian and personal vehicle traffic, but this is still being reviewed by the port and local authorities. Please be advised that if the port does open on Monday, it will only be for pedestrian and personal vehicle traffic. The port will definitely not be opened for commercial traffic on Monday, Oct. 29.

A follow-up email will be sent out as soon as an official date for the re-opening of the port for commercial traffic is determined. In the interim, please continue to use either the port of Otay Mesa or Calexico for your commercial traffic. Thank you.
